SANDBAR BOOKS

Sandbar Books is a small publisher based in Havant, Hampshire. The company's aim is to produce both fiction and non-fiction books set in south Hampshire and Portsmouth that will appeal to people living in the region.

 

This includes novels set in recognisable places, both present and past.​ Our first release is Postcard from Sunshine, a mystery story set on Hayling Island.

 

When a body washes up on the beach in the summer of 2026, beach hut owner Reenie Green discovers a mysterious postcard sent from Sunshine Holiday Camp three days after England won the World Cup in 1966. What does it mean? How does it relate to the murder? Reenie and her beach hut neighbours are determined to find out.​
